Design Process

Research & Ideation
The concept started with the understanding of mental model of the target user. There are available platforms which offers recording to share or express but none of the app came out with a concept which will replace the summary. This is how the concept was evolved.

Market Analysis

To go deeper into the concept, I studied user behaviors and their approaches of using the devices. It helped me to understand about how people record audio to share or express through social media or chat app. This study unearthed the meaningful insights which finally had a greater impact on the final outcome.

Competitors Analysis

A competitive analysis was done to understand how competitors are building their businesses and what is the USP of their products. This analysis helped me to map the best user experiences to build the intended app.

Prototyping

Some initial prototypes were made to understand about how user react or experience with the concept. This step helped me clarify if the concept met the intention or not. User feedback was noted and refined the final concept according to it.
Requirement Gathering & Brainstorming
Affinitized, helps me to divide my collected information into specific data points and re-organize them into
groups that shared common, deeper meanings.
My first task was to identify categories, concepts and/or themes that emerged from the gathered
information from both observation and interviewing.

Personas

The purpose of personas is to create reliable and realistic representations of key audience segments for reference. These personas are based on qualitative and quantitative user research.
It helps to focus decisions surrounding site components by adding a layer of
real-world consideration to the conversation.
Proposed Site Flow

Visual Design

The prototype received a great response from the client and they merrily approved for the final look and feel part. The Visual design captured the positive aspect and intended to impart a cool and peaceful environment which promises to evoke motivation and dedication.
